ZincirX turns the record of how a product was made into a digital product passport. Manufacturers define their process once as a template, then run every batch through it, recording each step with its date and time, photos, documents and, where the device provides it, a GPS position. Files attached to steps, batches and templates get a SHA-256 fingerprint when they are uploaded, and the export lists the fingerprints of the files attached to a batch and its steps.
Each batch gets a passport identifier with its own QR code and public page; where the business enters a GTIN and a lot number, the passport is also reachable through a GS1 Digital Link address. The public part of every passport is published as JSON-LD and GS1 EPCIS 2.0, attributes a business keeps non-public can be opened to parties it chooses through revocable access grants, and changes to a passport's attributes are kept as append-only revisions. ZincirX is designed with the EU Digital Product Passport rules (ESPR) in mind.
